As a firefighter, I am trained to run towards the emergency. After the past two years, our parks and kids need us right now to answer the bell and build a better system for all Minneapolis residence and their guest. I am ready to work with you and build a safer and more dynamic park system and programs for ALL Minneapolis residence and their guests.

Charles Has Been:
- Minneapolis, Firefighter and EMT with the Minneapolis Fire Department for more than 25 years
- President, Minneapolis African-American professional firefighter association
- Youth coach with police activities, league and hospitality house for more than 25 years in the Minneapolis Park system
- Married to Melanie Rucker assistant, chief, Minneapolis Fire department Pictured below
